Josh Kirk, CPA, is the owner and CEO of Josh Kirk, CPA. As a former IRS Revenue Officer, Josh has seen a lot of people go through financial struggles. It’s his passion to help make a significant difference in people’s lives so that they can feel relieved from their financial burdens. With his extensive tax experience, he’s well-positioned to proactively help individuals and businesses with all of their tax needs.
Josh is a licensed CPA in the state of Texas and primarily serves clients in and around the Dallas area. He offers a full range of tax services, including installment agreement, offer-in-compromise, penalty abatement, Appeals representation, lien, levy, seizure, trust fund recovery penalty, innocent spouse, Payroll Form 941, individual and business return preparation, and tax planning.
In addition to running his own business, Josh is also a software developer at Intuit where he works on Lacerte, a world-class tax software for tax practitioners filing forms 1120, 1065, 1041, 1040 and 1120S. In his long-standing career as a tax professional, he has worked as a Revenue Officer for the IRS where he handled all tax collection matters, as a Senior Tax Analyst at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC)—one of the Big 4 accounting firms, as an income tax preparer, and as a business system analyst.
Josh received his Master’s degree in Taxation from the University of North Texas. In his spare time, he enjoys playing the guitar and piano or at the gym working out. He’s also a huge fan of sports, especially when it comes to college wrestling. Josh is a family man; he has been married for 14 years to his beautiful wife Karla, and has two wonderful daughters: Hannah and Brielle.
